Legendary pop icon Paul Anka performs at the Meyerson Symphony Center for one night only. Anka, who rose to overnight stardom with his hit Diana in 1957, was a mainstay on the pop charts for over a decade and eventually began a successful film career with the hit The Longest Day. In addition to mega-hits such as Diana and Lonely Boy, Anka also doubled as a songwriter, penning the Tom Jones favorite She's a Lady and the English lyrics for My Way, among others. Recent recordings include a 2005 release of rock 'n' roll standards, Rock Swings, that includes songs by Bon Jovi, R.E.M., Michael Jackson, and Eric Clapton. Anka will be performing without orchestra.
