Beating to the Rhythm of my People:

2007 Hispanic Festival Concert: Beating to the Rhythm of my People presented by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra

Join us for a concert celebrating Latin-American contributions to the classical world. Our guest conductor this year will be maestro German Gutierrez. Maestro Gutierrez returns to the Dallas Symphony Orchestra to host guest artist Daniel Binelli of Argentina. Binelli is an internationally renowned master of the bandoneon, seasoned composer and experienced arranger specialized in all styles of tango. Repertoire for the evening will include three pieces by the great Astor Piazzolla, Bachianas Brasileiras No. 4 by Villa-Lobos and several all-time favorites Latin-American songs such as Granada, Cachita, El Cumbanchero and others.
