At Better Than Broadway Productions, our mission is to make sure that every child is engaged and having fun while learning the basics of performing arts. We strive to provide an environment that is safe and creative, allowing our participants to explore their talents and become better performers. Our team of experienced theater professionals will help the children hone their acting, singing, and dancing skills, as well as teaching them the importance of teamwork and discipline, while creating an indelible experience that they will cherish forever.

Under the guidance of Owner and Artistic Director Michele Mueller, Better Than Broadway Productions has been bringing live theater events to schools and camp programs since 1995. "It was always my dream to have a professional career in this field, but I never envisioned it would touch so many families lives." Michele Mueller has had the honor and privilege of working with many different schools and camp programs, directing thousands of students, and inspiring them to achieve through the performing arts. Watching kids learn and grow with each production makes it all worthwhile.

In 2018, due to the overwhelmingly positive response to the program, Michele personally trained and brought on Associate Director Samantha Bruccoliere. As an alumnus of the program, she brings her own personal experience and is a fantastic asset to our team! A graduate of Rowan University with a degree in Theater Arts and a concentration in Theater Education, Sam has worked with companies such as Main Street Theater Company and First Avenue Playhouse. Her extensive background with the Walt Disney Company brings a high level of professionalism and magic to our productions. Sharing the world of theater with her students through the medium of Theater Week is truly the opportunity of a lifetime for her!

In 2026, we were thrilled to welcome Christian Carrara to the Better Than Broadway team. A passionate theater artist dedicated to creating memorable experiences on and off the stage, Christian brings years of experience directing and performing in community theaters across New Jersey. Beyond the spotlight, he spent years leading after-school science programs for elementary students, where he discovered a deep passion for mentoring young minds. This unique blend of performance, direction, and education allows Christian to create a supportive environment where performers of all ages feel inspired to take center stage.

We are all passionate about giving kids the opportunity to explore their creative side and show off their talent in front of an audience. It's truly a dream job for all of us.
