Costume Examples for
The Fair at Sleepytown

Parents, organizers, and volunteers this is a slideshow of costume examples for The Fair at Sleepytown.  Hopefully this will aid you in putting together your participants costume. Click on any image to get a full screen view. Thanks in advance for helping out!

ALL CITIZENS OF SLEEPYTOWN (INCLUDING DREAM CATCHERS)

Your favorite pajamas and robes. Dream Catchers may add colorful beads and you will all receive scarfs.

ALL STUDENTS

RED, WHITE, and BLUE clothing (not pajamas) OR you can wear any clothing with your school's name or logo on it.
Add baseball hats, Mickey Mouse ears, or any kind of hat that would make you look like a tourist.  
Anything with the American flag on it also looks great!

TEACHERS

Dress in the style of the teacher you are emulating, the more identifiable the better.  
Ask the teachers you are portraying for suggestions or even if you can borrow their badge for the show

GANGSTERS

Wear either a dark suit, dark shirt, and a tie
Or a shirt, a tie, nice pants or skirt, and suspenders. 
Fedora hats and drawn in mustaches or a five o’clock shadow (for the performances only) are also fun!

MINISTER SANDMAN AND EVIL GUARDS

Wear all black clothing. I will provide the rest. Evil Guards are also permitted to wear cool sunglasses.

ROYAL FAMILY AND ADELE

Better Than Broadway Productions will provide most of your costumes but you need a few additional items. Wear pajama pants and a tank top. We will have the rest.

Specialty costumes being provided by us will require a fitting on Wednesday. All other costumes are required to be worn to school on Friday in preparation for the Assembly Performance.  Also they should be worn to Friday evening's performance.
